That same love my mother has for nature has also grown in me since I was young. For the past four years, I have been putting this love into doing my own research into both the healing and spiritual effects of plants. Using herbs and flowers has played a big role in my daily life and spiritual journey ever since.
This research has formed into The Mystical Garden. I collect herbs, flowers, plants and process this into intentional herbal blends, these blends can be used as tea, but also as incense or in a steam bath. In addition, these blends are also shaped into intention candles. The idea is that you set intentions while using these products. For instance, one of the blends The Mystical Garden makes is the "Cleanse & Protect" blend, a mix of white sage, rose petals and rosemary. Imagine you brew tea from this blend. Before and while drinking this tea, I want you to focus your attention on what you want the tea to do with you, which is to cleanse and protect your energy. When you light the Cleanse & Protect candle, I want you to focus on the intention while the flame is burning. It's about creating a moment in which you give the intention your full attention, because this leads a moment in which you pause for a moment and are not constantly occupied with all the different things you have to. While doing this you're focussing your attention outside instead of turning inwards. Try not having a cup of tea while working, instead take time for this action. Try not burning a candle in the background, but give it your full attention. Look at the flame, how it's dancing and how it's oh so bright. The Mystical Garden combines these powerful herbs and flowers with the elements fire, earth, air and water: in the shape of candles, incense, crystals and herbal mixes (for teas and baths).
When I would think about my future, where I would see myself, plants would always be the center of it. I could never and still can’t imagine a life in which Mother Nature does not play a big part. I have always been so grateful for my mom, the fact that she introduced me to this world. I always felt a strong connection with nature and I wish this for every being walking on this earth. Through The Mystical Garden I want to combine standing still in this busy society with the power of nature and the influence nature can have in your journey.
